BUT by NO means assume you are Safe; this is the new normal as this very ambitious and Convoluted 'transformation blueprint' is Aggressively pursued; the major problem is that it does not reflect the reality of delivery in the trenches - but that won't stop it, especially as they add pieces to the puzzle. So expect major changes in the forms of stressful uncertainty, realignments without clear direction...just the nature of the 'transformation beast' ?
Think of taking several huge lumps of clay and looking at a drawing for instructions (with the infamous dotted lines) on how to merge and sculpt those clumps a simpler, highly effective, efficient model - but naturally, as you move forward you will have to make changes, adjustments....
So lumps of clay will be moved and reshaped - or cut off - and in the end the stud race horse in the drawing will end up as a zebra, at best...
Business history is littered with similar cases; just look at the latest in IBM and GE, both of which, btw, are/were HUGE adopters of 'AGILE' as their core guide to help transform their businesses...
