Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

UP a great place to work. Non agreement can take sick days now!

UP allows non agreement to take sick days for children parent or spouse or “special friend”. Guess what, I already was dumbos.

Of course. In 2018 they finally decide on some non-a sick policy. Enforcing it as a rule equally among all employees, meh, thats not likely. Kinda like work from home days. No manager at up wants to "manage". Especially some icky timekeeping task. Yuk. Is it february board meeting time yet?

Lets not forget WHY there wasnt a policy to begin with. Because of the brutal culture of never take a day off and be sure to leave for the day after your boss and arrive before them. I threw up in my car on the way to work once with the fear that if i turned around, id been looked on with negative light.

You'll get plenty of time off after they lay you off.

But...ACTUALLY TAKING the Sick Days and my boss gives me dirty looks and basically threatends my job security! What little security there was I mean. Lol. What a friggin BAD joke.
