Outsourcing- paying more for less

Any company with 2 million employees that has to out source their accounting is not long for this world in their current state. Something is happening to WM, and the shareholders won't like the return in a few years. WM doesn't make things, it re-sells. Genpack has to make a profit, WM will pay more for less. A great company is going down the tubes. Way to go Doug!

A short but an insightful post by @W2uVGi6-1oel .This couldn't be more true

The scariest part of this is that WM is still the nation's #1 private sector employer. With these current (and predicted) moves, that's a huge blow to the the economy that we haven't seen the real effects of----yet. This is the proverbial case of why you don't put all your eggs in one basket.

As for all these problems being the fault of any one CEO or board of directors; I dunno. I think a lot of what's befallen physical retail stores in recenrt times was unpredicted and / or inadequately prepared for. It's not affecting just Walmart.

Finally, what's going to be interesting (and scary) is how all this is going to absolutely mandate all levels of US government to impose on line sales tax-----it simply is going to have to happen.
