Any corporate call centers in danger from this restructure? A lot of rumors floating around that big wigs positions were “dissolved” and that centers could be closing after it is all said and done. Can’t imagine that telesales could be discontinued. Makes the company a ton of money. Any info anyone has would be appreciated.

If Charleston was so terrible, then why did T-Mobile open a brand new call center down there, using its new hyper local TEX model?

Call centers with telesales aren't likely to go anywhere. They do more numbers than stores and for a lot less money. The shift is still geared to HBA. Centers that are in expensive areas can expect to go bye bye but that was always the case. The Charleston Center had terrible numbers forever and it was an expensive area. A no brainier to get rid of that place.
