It is a free forum and I will say whatever I want. Again, since you can’t read nor do you have reading comprehension skills, tbe point of my posts was not about a soured romance. I was laid off last year. You are a dumb a**.
You sobbed here on this layoff forum about some soured romance about some guy you liked, yadda yadda. Please, once again no one wants to hear about your soured romance or whatever you want to call it. This is not a Dear Abby forum. There are plenty of people who have real stories about their insights about layoffs. Others want to hear about these insights. Please go find another forum to whine about the ASO guy you liked but didn't work out.
First of all, ASO a-hole, I did not get dumped. You have to date to get dumped. I didn’t indulge in office romance. He did. And second of all, I did get laid off so my response here is valid. I hope you are one of the first to go this year.
You indulged in office romance which any smart professional person knows is a big no no. And then got dumped by the guy. If that's not enough, you come to a site about legitimate layoffs to whine like some high school girls about your soured office romance. Please stop with the whining about being jilted by some jerk in the office.
Yeah, a layoff is easier to let go when the conpany that laid you off does not talk smack about you to companies across Houston. I have been on interviews where the HR person knew almost exactly what my manager had to say about me. And easier to let go when a guy you had feelings for really just got you to like him to boost his ego. Just something to do while you are bored at work (IM, text). No intention of ever actually doing anything about it. Easy for employed people with marriages or relationships to tell people without to just “get over it.” No big deal, right? Losing your job is just fine. Companies not wanting to hire you is just fine.
Contact me when you get laid off and screwed over by people you trusted at ASO, and tell me how soon you “let it go”.
No, it doesn’t need to be let go. People need to do the right thing and stop perpetuating bad behavior. You are part of the problem when you are apathetic and let bad behavior go. Not hard to be a decent human being.
