From what I have read on sites like Glassdoor, they do give raises in India, but not every year and when they do, they are small. Also from what I've read there, they use bennies like WFH to fight attrition.

If you work in India, you work for Oracle for one reason and one reason only. You are 4 times cheaper than hiring someone in the U.S.

Why would Oracle give raises to the cheap people in India? That would defeat the purpose, right? My guess would be that they figure you can't easily change jobs there. They may think of you as their captive cheap workforce. So, I would expect they will do very little to change that.

The only hike coming is if you go outside and take one yourself.

Contrary to the opinions here, Oracle does not "have" to give anyone an increase and typically doesn't. It makes no difference if you perform exceptional work or are slacker, there is no metric where any one gets automatic raises or col increases. Some get increases if they have a manage who will fight for it but it's not provided as a routine thing.

In IDC the IIT's are recruited has MTS are getting more then 23L + 3 L / year has retention bonus which is more then the manager salary served for the company for more then 10years. Not sure who has to report to whom with this kind of disparity. Most of IIT's will enjoy all the benefit and leave the company with in 3 years. Not sure who is making such policy to spoil the company. Do we really need IIT's?.

There are and will be no raises for the whole company. I've been with Oracle for over 15+ years and have only gotten 3 raises. 2 of them, I had to kick and scream to justify why. Company's supposed to take care of their employees, but Oracle never takes care of their employees compensation wise, while the rest of the corporate world at least try to match the cost of living increase. You figured the tax break may spurn on some raises or bonuses, but nothing.

You may ask why I have been working in Oracle for such a long time and enduring the lack of a pay raise, well, it's really hard to find another job with Oracle showing in your resume. So I am SOL and am enduring this for a few more years till I retire.

Current inflation rate in India is over 4%. Good luck with getting a 4% raise. Good luck with getting a raise at all. And by the way, most of you in Oracle India are underpaid and that's why a lot quit after a 18 motnhs for greener pastures and log SRs to Oracle telling us how we s---(and do your work for you).

Why should India get a hike when no one else is?
