Huge December layoffs for GBS North America, UKI, and the Global teams. Europe will be spared. Even billable resources aren’t safe. I was warned that if your team hasn’t heard about doing end of year administrative things like sales credit, project shutdowns, annual reviews, etc it is a sign.

I have heard about the restructuring of UKI and NA as they fail to make their numbers. I was also told that a major restructuring will occur with CICs taking the lead for all delivery, meaning no local delivery organizations anymore. Many countries in Europe have barely any local people left because of this model already.
It's a lot harder and much more expensive to lay off European headcount. They require advance notice and generous severance that disincenticize laying off and hiring and then repeating the cycle every time the market farts.
