Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

I just retired, probably avoided the November layoff

30 years, 23 different managers. What a great outfit that is now a total train wreck.

They don’t have a clue. If you aren’t old enough to retire, get yourself on the market; sure, you don’t want to get laid off, but there’s nothing to stay for. Get out to another environment that economically and emotionally rewarding.

Any word on the November layoffs? Which department, divisions, etc? I work in XIM which had a large layoff in Sept. but wondering if more are coming.

Having worked in customer support

external as well as internal this seems to

be the standard sentiment toward

Xerox today.

Xerox is simply a terrible employer. It also treats customers like C-ap. It dictates everything it will do without regard to customer requirements. Alternatively, it abandons the customer altogether. Xerox has a terrible culture.
