Why are hours being cut when we know for a fact we'll not only need more hours but more people? Where's the logic in this? What are they trying to accomplish?

Profits pay wages.

If you have unlimited over time .... your probably closing !
Our sales are strong but wage hours still cut for most to 34. Moral is the lowest I've ever seen. It's the holiday's dam it!
My heart aches for the coworkers left behind to struggle as I will be skipping out the door on Dec.7th and never looking back! I highly doubt HO is losing sleep over their deception of the very people that helped make this company what it Was. Yes, past tense. It is now just a shell of what Sam created as he rolls in his grave. My prayers for all left behind...
We have unlimited over time.
Sales are up. We're busy. Short on staff and then the call outs we get. PTers max of 25 hrs. FT floor partners have been cut 33/34 hours. TL and MSS have the most hours at 36 1/2 to 37 1/2. Happy Holidays.
Good luck! I went through that last year. I had nobody to help in fresh and they expected the work of 3 people. Come January they closed us down...
Your sales are probably down, our club is thriving. Good chance your club will be on the cutting block come February.
Sales are not there yet. Be patient hours will come back. Maybe you’re new but this happens every year everywhere.
