Because Sears is old news. Everyone has written it off & the smart ones have moved on. The only ones left are in denial.

The media says "Yawn" to SHC news until Chapter 7 is filed.
They should bring "Sh-- your pants back" or was it "Ship your pants?" That's what happens when you try comparing c*** size with the likes of Amazon.
Sears has been "restructuring" for years now and nothing has worked
Eddie said Sears was restructuring. This is the product of what he promised. Why would his promise be BIG news?
Everyone that has heard the word "restructuring" knows what is meant.

The nation has written us off long time ago. The vigil was about two years ago during the first big store closure hoopla. The vigil is what counts, the funeral will not be attended by the nation.
Nobody feels sorry for rich people losing their jobs. If you aren't rich with your earnings over the years then your spending is way out of control. Try living off of 20 grand a year or less. These are the people that are newsworthy of losing their jobs.
Sad to say but like others have noted, Sears isn't too interesting to many people. Even other businesses at the mall I work at do not think about Sears. This here is almost a special interest.
And California has real problems ....
The only peeps that give a rat's gluteus maximus about Sears are the money peeps, and that's only to see how much more can be, or is left to be, stripped from the bones 😎
I agree, with the exception of a few customers who knew how to play the Sears game nobody cares
Or it would bring fear and vendors as well as creditors will pull out right away
Because to the rest of the world Sears was irrelevant by the early 2000’s.
probably because the news does not deem it important considering half of california is on fire
