@1czs Alin was the G-suite tragedy creator
"Ajay Waghray was brought in to consolidate billing systems after acquisitions. He did what he was hired to & moved on." Well, he became CIO of VES and then, following a bad data breach of VEC left or was pushed and went to Assurant. I think most in VES don't think he did what he was hired to do....
Myanmar. He's here to shank us all!
Btw, which exec was responsible for the G-Suite tragedy while heralding it as their incredible success story? Was it him or someone else?
Ajay Waghray was brought in to consolidate billing systems after acquisitions. He did what he was hired to & moved on.
After all the bullying he promoted , confidence in his voice went down ?
KARMA
Confidence in Shankar voice went down from past one year. I guess he is also under pressure.
Under Ajay we were better off. Now it is bunch of crooked politicians who wants more power. Shanker kicked off a vicious turf war which decimated teams and has come to a point where layoffs are needed.
What a c-appy call. A giant telecom company and all you heard was static (by design?). And his BS about no more outsourcing? Right. I hope this InfoSys deal blows up in his face.
Ajay Wahgray was as incompetent as Shankar or the others.
Sooner dotted lines become exit lines.
Wireless IT organization always had its presence on “best places to work in IT” this was when Ajay as our CIO. That badge quickly disappeared under Shankar leadership
No Shanks.
Does anyone know what is going to happen to the IT leader who was "DOTTED LINE" to Shankar or was it Ronnan ? ?
6 years ago my team was a lean organization, we executed on our goals and achieved them(Lowell said "Sankar you are inheriting a Ferrari" if you doubt it pull up the video). Now we have a useless CIO who came from Wire-line, which was so bloated that , to justify their size they made sure that same HR policies were implemented across the Wireless IT organizations. Now teams on wireless side are also bloated. Now they want to cut down the teams to meet that 10 billion savings goal. Now this fellow thinks he can run this better if he pulls his old buddies up and ditch all the Wireless leaders. Who ever is making up these HR polices ought to be let go and sued..
I worked closely worked with Shankar in the past. he is very good person and resonable with in his limits. He made few bad choices by bringing V*k who does not have executive level managemt skills .
The majority part of his speech before the QnA he kept blabbering the same old song, we are this we are that. Give me a break! And of course we have to be more agile
Who?
Well think about who he didn’t mention reporting up to him any more. Surprise!
i'm so disappointed he didn't use his poker analogies that were constantly used in the past 2 years and parroted down throughout the organizations.
@evl agile, monitor, develop, cloud, success, modernization, global technology, clarity. Reach out to Shankar with any questions.
So what was it all about?
Hire more interns as part of new corporate strategy organization.
Shankar have great static on toughest question!
A conference call at Verizon. Now there is a shocker. Is the sky falling chicken little?
Shankar should have been fired after that infosys debacle.
1 point zero no agile. 2 point zero MOST AGILE.
May be Some useless people are going up.
I see it
