According to this article, Intel announced the reduction of shipments of desktop PC processors in the fourth quarter of 2018, as it wants to create more space for production and shipment of notebook and server processors. I know this market is not something that is in direct focus of the company but it’s still a big market and can't help to think that by this move Intel is willingly giving up on a lot of revenue.
