Why are there hundreds of job openings at Union Pacific right now?!?!? Just check around, LinkedIn has over 200 job postings.
So many good people were laid off in the last several weeks and for what? Why exactly are they laying off on one side and then immediately hiring on another?
This makes me so angry...

There are 38 openings on up.jobs. all Union jobs. The external sites don't delete old postings that are no longer valid. Stop spreading false information. You're not helping.
Maybe they laid off the it guy in charge of uploading hr postings externally.
At the end of the day, it’s just business.
Hiring college kids at half the salary of those they laid off.
Horrible backstabbing terrible business tactics and people need to run away as fast as they can from UP. Complete lack of ethics and a cold heart has taken over the place. Run!!!! And don't look back!!!!
