Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I posted this before and someone answered with the associate line. However after my wireless position being eliminated on the 17th of dec my club still can’t get me keyed out so I can get my pto or severance. Anyone have the home office number I can call again and try to get something done?

A couple months ago this wouldn't have been a problem, but in September we switched to Workday, a new HR system but all the back end stuff is still running through SMART, and the two systems don't communicate well so sometimes when you do something on workday, it doesn't transfer properly.

I've seen a few issues in my club where we would add or remove job codes in Workday, but wouldn't go through on SMART so we have to contact People Solutions to have it corrected since we're locked out of associate maintenance on SMART on the club level now. It's possible they terminated you in Workday but Workday never fully terminated you from SMART.

Market manager information is posted in the break room of every club under the open door process. Anyone who works there should be able to get you their email address.

The associate line should be able to help resolve the issue. if you can’t get ahold of them or they aren’t helpful just call your market office and speak with his assistant for help or they can put you in contact with what used to be the market HR person.

I’ve been going back and forth with them for weeks. They assured me I was keyed out within the week after I was gone, and after that I called home office and they said the only thing keeping me from getting my paperwork was that I was an active associate. I’ve made contact with management multiple times since them and they’ve even said they’ve redone the steps to terminate me but it’s still not working. So I was hoping I could get home office to call them and walk them through it. My manager said he emailed someone on Friday and still hasn’t heard anything back. I have a friend who left a couple months ago and as soon as she was keyed out, she could no longer log into Walmart one. So I keep logging in in hopes that I won’t be able to one of these times. Honestly though I’ve been gone for a month now and I feel like I’m getting screwed.

Either way the termination would have to be done on the club level first. Have you talked to someone at your club? Your team leader should be able to do it. If no one can do it them I'd recommend going to your market manager
