Conoco Begins Layoffs In Aberdeen

ConocoPhillips has begun telling its Aberdeen employees who among them will have to leave as part of a redundancy plan announced earlier this year, which will see up to 450 employees of the supermajor in the UK lose their jobs between Dec this year and April 2020.
Many other companys in Aberdeen are following the same route after oil price dropped over 30%.
BHGE are to pay off 20% of its Aberdeen workforce it was confirmed today.
