Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Christmas Bonus

So, Molina paid everyone a $1,000 Christmas bonus. That is nice, as far as it goes, but just remember, the Company paid JZ more for one year ($20 million) than it cost for the company to give everyone a bonus! And the company has made more money this year than it ever has. Why not share the wealth? Instead they pay the execs huge money, the Board members huge money and continue to lay off employees?

More like $500 after taxes.. see it for what it is: hedging loss of what little actual talent remains with the company in order to postpone the evevitible mass exodus of people.. if you stick around because of a lousy "bonus" then you're falling for the trick.. Molina wouldn't give bonuses out of the kindness of the higher execs' heart.. it's a calculated expense designed to boost your loyalty long enough for the company to hang on until it's bought out in 2019...

Joe and many other execs in the major health insurance companies share a similar heritage. Everyone here talks about India taking our jobs and fail to see the real ethnicity to be scared of.
