When Are Assistant Managers Getting the Axe?

We know it's coming. When are Assistant Managers getting clobbered? If the company is going to get rid of their 30+ year tenured Associates in backroom positions, when are they going to kill Assistant Managers? My prediction is the Club will restructure:

1 Club Manager - Probably makes $60-70k salary

1 "Support/Merchandise" Manager - Probably makes $50k salary (this poor dope will end up doing basically everything and it will be a high turnover position)

Team Leads making $20/hourly

If you think they care about you and are "loyal" for your service, well then you don't know John Furner, Gisel Ruiz and the "Goon Squad". They're coming for Assistant Managers next.

Right now CM’s bonuses alone are 60-70k+ and that’s a poor club. (It’s based on %)

Assistants start at 48k so pretty close

And team leads starting at $20? That’s basically $42k + benefits/bonus/pto payout. So this would give zero incentive to become an Assistant that works 10h days and on call

They should have offered all the smart knowledgeable back room associates AM positions instead of watching them walk.

Assistant managers aren't necessary. Team leads could do the job. It would be a smart move for the company.
