I do not understand how a failed leader is receiving financial benefit when she is part of why sears is in the situation to begin with. She is a failure. She cannot lead but yet in bankruptcy the organization selects her to be one of the members of the office of the CEO. That announcement was an indication there was not serious plan to survive. If there was a serious serious plan for survivial she would have been fired. Not elevated. Leader of stores - failure. Leader of SYW - failure. Leader of Marketing - failure. I hope she milks this for all the money she can because there is no organization in this planet other than ESL influenced would ever hire this failure.

@yxp- Just to let you know and to give you a little perspective... most people don't know that Sears/Kmart are going out of business because most of them have not been in a store in years. They also don't know the stores are a mess or that there have not been raises or that the executives got a huge bonuses because it did not affect them. Just like most things in life, if it does not affect you, you will not care or pay no attention. But as soon as someone speaks up and takes a stand then people notice, people start to care, elected officials see a chance (for political reasons) to join with the common people. If we all had your attitude then factories would still be using child labor, businesses would still have the company store, indentured servants would still be around, there would be no minimum wage or health care or even civil rights.
Will speaking up change anything? Who knows. But even if it doesnt maybe the next person will get the courage to speak up and not stand for injustice and at least I know I tried. But your attitude is exactly what those who run these type of companies and hedge funds rely on; silence and fear. So you just sit there and do and say nothing and you will continue to be part of the problem and not the solution.
And to answer your next question: Yes, I have written my state attorney general and my representatives and have even called my local news outlet who said they might do an investigative story on SHC.

She may be a business failure but she is a personal success. She never needs to work again. She makes more in 3 months than I have probably made in my lifetime. Not only is nothing stopping her but Lampert and the bankruptcy court are enhancing her situation. It makes me actually sick.
All those top dogs got a pay increase also before the announcement of their big bonuses they will be receiving
The top 18 plus the 332 other top employees should have to spend a month in each remaining store learning what really goes on in the stores! They cd be cashiers with cashier wages for a month and be subjected to all the things our cashiers have to do with each and every customer

I never did a sales on that. Horrible and unnecessary sales feature. The 2 times I did try to complete a sale, It crashed. Never got called out for not using it per the numbers demands management hammered us on.
Leena is a project manager that got elevated way past her potential. Lots of rumors on how she got there, but in reality she busted people out in front of eddie and kept moving along. She would tell Eddie anything he wanted to hear, and she kept moving up.
Eddie can be lied to, his fatal flaw is that he likes talkers. If you can present to a screen and handle some tough questions you can keep moving up. Leena fit the bill.

If 225,000 people losing jobs and over 2000 stores being closed did nothing, you think NOW is the time to get the American Public and its elected officials to care? If you have 3 channels on TV where one is bashing Trump, the second is praising Trump and the third is running stories about the failure of Sears Holdings, which channel is going to get the least viewership?
If back when ESL had most of its investors they didn't care what Eddie did, now that Eddie is going it alone you think something will happen?
When they selectively chose a specific Bankruptcy Court to file in, you think things will go against them?
You think now that the bonuses were approved after various arguments against it, that something is going to go RIGHT for the employees and the "good" vestiges of Sears and Kmart?
You think that after 13+ years of not investing in stores and running with something as lame as SYW and having sales drop 70%+ and having next to none of the shopping public care to shop at our stores, that something good will finally happen and all will be better?

This is the same person who cried about some woe is me story about coming to.the United States with "nothing" or having to eat ramen in college (can't remember exactly what her sob story was) when she was confronted on Pebble about the employee discount going away.
I can't believe that the bankruptcy court is allowing her--or anybody else on the executive team--to receive a bonus from a company that failed under their watch.
I can't believe that 60,000 employees at the stores, the DCs, the call centers, home services and even the worker bees at HE or the call centers in India, etc. are getting nothing for their hard work and nothing if they get laid off. All 60,000 employees are treated like they are chopped liver.
