Don’t believe all the hype from Cisco moving to a software company with annuity revenues.
Cisco is still very much in the buisiness of selling iron boxes with ports.

i agree, at least for the next ~10 years. Too big, too slow to adapt to software focus (and much of the software is too broken). Need to sc-ap it and start over.

huawei is now a better box and ports company. cisco's routing side of the business is dying.
in switches can hold out a bit longer at the top. but switching BUs are now bloated post the whole insiemi + other switches merger.
