Some FS members with only 6 month experience are moving ahead many exmilitary . Company set to give out huge bonuses this year and next year to attract top talent. Same here in Ga, heading to Woonsocket J have the date and times . All week event. I have less than a year here and find it amazing how Toys r Us never recognized my talent . I will be 26 in May and will be a DL by that time, my goals are to become VP by 30 . This is a great company where advancement is quick.

LMFAO...so let me get this straight...8 people are going to fly out to Woonsocket to enter the EL program...Total BS...this is done at the RBO of your region. They wouldn't even fly you to Woonsocket to promote you to DL...your RD and Division Manager would do it. Seen it done to a close colleague. He never went Woonsocket until after he was promoted to DL . BTW he quit like most of them due to how terrible the job is.
I was offered to be in the EL program before my 1 yr anniversary...I politely declined. I was fortunate enough to have a friend in the company they gave me the low down. Just about everyone unless you are terrible gets the EL invite. Don't be a s---er and take it.
I hope you also enjoy being your DLs secretary as the admin cuts keep coming. Or as the EL track likes to call it, your “project”

I do not buy the last post! I was told I will be a DL within 6 months after finishing my training . I am in Texas and there are 9 of us scheduled to fly to Woonsocket 3 are pharmacists the rest of us are FS . The company would not waste our time and theirs .

Let me fill you in on the EL program as you are new to CVS. Unless you are a RPH you will never become a DL. That is the new direction of CVS as of Jan 1st of this year. Yes there are currently DL's that are not Licenced right now and they will be weeded out.
Each DL is required to have a certain amount of people in the EL program. They usually have to beg people as everyone knows it is a joke unless you are a RPH.
When in the EL program you are required to do multiple tasks that are very time consuming on your OWN TIME ontop of the 45hrs a week. Usually takes years once you are in the EL program before you are considered to even interview for a DL position. You also have to have a bachelors degree at minimum but now it looks like a Pharmacy degree is required. They will not tell you this right away as they know they will not be able to fill the mandatory seats for the EL program.
Do yourself a favor and drop out of it unless you like wasting your time and working like crazy for free
True people! I start my emerging leader training JAN 14 by going to Woonsucket for new EL training! I have been here 9 months and was Smit just $ months ago. This place allows people to succeed who are dedicated where else can you be a DL at the age of 24
Just like I don’t believe the negative stuff said about CVS (till I see it) I especially won’t believe the positive stuff said (until I see it.)
This sounds like something a newer and naive do-gooder DL might believe. And to be honest that does sound great in theory. Anything can be made to sound great in theory though.
CVS has proven to be an overly re active (not proactive) corporation. Let’s not forget that as we watch the stock trends move.
