New week, new worries.
Did anything new on the second round of layoffs surface so far?

Lot of changes after march.
"Selective layoffs " in the near future for obvious deadwood candidates that didn't take the buyout offer. No national headlines, no formal corporate announcement, no publicity, most likely a staggered schedule of small layoffs. Everything will be evaluated after that. Anyone's guess what happens, although if upper management holds true to form, the dumbest course of action will be the one chosen.
The big 1Q layoff won't happen because they got enough people. 2Q doubtful too. All good til late 3Q
With almost a 1/4 of those offered the package taking it I really doubt Verizon is going to do any layoffs soon. Had the take rate been lower then maybe there would be layoffs.
From what I have seen it will take a while for the dust to settle after all these people leaving.
Game on 2Q19
I don't see them whacking anyone until after June 2019, so they don't take a public relations beating for unloading loyal V-teamers at 1/2 the package of the VSP. I'd watch out for somewhere between July and Thanksgiving.
People that didn’t take the VSP offer should be safe for awhile.
The Firing squad is off for the holidays.
They'll be back in force after the first of the year- when they've gotten over 5000 off the books from the VSP on 12/28
Everyone's getting laid off in 2019 !!
Just 1 person. The OP will be let go, in Jan
Come back in 2019. Leadership is has taken recess at their Aspen homes for the remainder of 2018.
