I heard that there are going to be less floor leads and that they are going to be salary is this true or is it fake news???

they tried this years ago did not work ended up putting tls back to hourly
Yes. Managers base pay is ~48k and let’s say a ~5k Sam share. So that’s grossing ~$53k. They work 10 hour days. So @50h/week that just over $20/hour. Not really much more or even as mentioned above LESS than a tenured team lead.
1) according to a manager a while ago: if you figure the number of hours they are on duty, they get paid as much or less per hour than associates do.
2) some leads already consider themselves managers....
Salary just means unpaid over time. Would have to come with a significant pay bump.
They tried this out in Texas clubs and it seems to have worked out all right.
