Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

The wrong strategies

Believe me people know already about these performances, some even have issues understanding what they need to do and not only employees but project managers and management whom fail to deliver. Like I said earlier the result of cheap labor and self described “better skilled” employees as indicated below?, has led this company to spend in offshore programs instead of focusing in their local insfrastructures and people avoiding these unnecessary cuts on people that actually are worth the labor and future pensions. I got to the point my friend of seeing how sickening it has become to let fellow coworkers let go, while some have the nerve to celebrate they still made it through with a job ignoring where we stand nowadays as a company’. So sad, to see our organizational culture lacks of any sensitivity to empathize with people who were part of this company for so long knowledgeable enough to take over actual manager positions of people that currently have been around for a few years. Who is advising these people to keep going with this offshoring when expansion is not vital at this point for it, it is to maintain their infrastructure? They are not in that stage anymore they should work with locals and pull it through this crisis and stop focusing on incessant expansions of whomever keeps on bringing up projects like this, which completely should be written off the list for now. They really need people skilled enough to advice that these are not the right solutions for what they are facing right now and that what they need to focus on is their local sustainability.

Great post @WCB9wR9-2loo . Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Thank you my friend. Offshore investments have all the potential to lose all of your cash if you don’t invest in the right way; like when inefficiency is placed above guaranteeing future company growth with current and future customers. Guess we have as a result the credit issues this company is facing nowadays to support this. Tax laws are becoming tighter in every country as the financial squeeze forces governments to look for new ways to claw back cash.

Costs for setting up offshore solutions can be become even more expensive than investing in local infrastructure. Not sure what project managers are reporting or management is.. but there seems to be clearly a lack of communication on reporting actual performance. How can credit be affecting this worldwide company? I bet they still don’t have the same customers they had before implementing these projects prior to this investment. Xerox is no longer in an expansion stage. These offshore investment funds have minimum investment levels that would make most of us weep, and in some instances investors need to set up holding companies or offshore corporations too. They really need an independent adviser if they want to keep offshoring but for now, I would suggest to focus like we agree on, on your local sustainability. Lastly, focus on local management, there is no other people more equipped to address financially this company instead of maintaining solutions like these, that have only shown, how money invested in projects like this, would actually guarantee professional acquisition to save this company by avoiding splattering their money in investments like this. Xerox made a big mistake by now getting involved enough to audit actual reporting and verify their customer listing was being taking care carefully from the lowest to the highest head in the team. Lastly personally, I would take it back to my locals and focus on expansion further on, now is no longer the time to keep on maintaining these programs by targeting people that actually guaranteed their workforce and could implement better solutions instead of maintain cheap workforce as proven. Again, if any have any questions about it, please check stock and credit positioning. As well as disregard any management criteria.. as you can see it should be disregarded at all cost, and audited once and for all.
