Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Run away as fast as you can

Oracle’s performance is terrible, the ridiculous “cloud” numbers they reported confirm this. Dev ops is an unmitigated mess after too many years of being mismanaged by a combination of TK and LE and sales is bring continuously decimated by MH. Nowhere to hide al oracle. Everybody is being led to slaughter. Run away as fast as you can

Good advice from @WFCddTQ-1nib.

We most likely fired you're butt so move on and ruin another company. Piece of dung. Tired of hearing all this c-ap, hope your working for CRM just a matter of time before Benoit implodes with Cramer and the SEC.

You are completely clueless. I was an excellent employee, no longer work there because of all the ridiculously toxic c-ap that goes on. Good employees leave companies where sh-- like that goes on.

Oracle is going down big time and instead of dusting off your resume and getting ready for the next gig, you are on here trying to make up sh--, so you can pretend you don't need to do anything and that nothing affects you.

You may feel secure with the current manager, but now imagine that some hand above him could come down at any time and sweep you into some other manager's group. If you've been screwing over other people in other groups, you may find yourself working with the very people you have been screwing over. Literally anything can change. You could end up anywhere.

Everyone needs to brush up on current skills and be prepared for anything, including working with your current enemies.

I prefer to work where I have no enemies.

@WGfWlbI-eib maybe here are also excellent present or past employees who have some managers which make them feel used and dis-informed. And actually, the original poster has a point, with cloud numbers being 'redefined' when they didn't look good anymore. Fancy saying anything on the subject?

Bitter, much?

I reckon most of you guys are the disgruntled crud Oracle axed who now spend their time pining over unrequited love. Move on or is this perpetual embitterment a planned retirement pastime?
