Heard from two sources (one fairly reliable) about another ACT coming in Q1. Anyone else heard any rumors or news?

Intel is like half contractors. 5200 or so would be 10% cut

I think the way Intel is growing there is no layoffs in near future. Amazing growth n great strategy to go ahead larger market. Stop spreading fake news.
Nobody hires you if you are 40+ in the Bay Area, younger people are smarter. Ageism is prevailing in the Bay Area.
No matter if another ACT is coming you, during focal, should be prepared and keep in mind that if you are 40+ you are too old for Intel. Intel prefers young (RCG's) recent college graduates or people in their early 30's. Younger people are smarter as cited by FB Zuckerberg and Intel's younger people clues. If you visit Santa Clara Intel you will feel like being in a high school or around high school students.
Weren't there more replies in this thread just yesterday? Two posts talking about them being managers and having a secret meeting set up for today to discuss layoffs. They got deleted.

Yes, I've heard such rumors on this website from supposedly "reliable" sources many times and nothing has happened yet. How about we wait until something actually happens before sharing? These rumors are like the kid who cries wolf except the kid has cried 50 time already and no one cares to listen anymore. The rumor may be right, but no one cares anymore until something actually happens.

It’s a rumor site, so everything should be taken with a grain of salt. But somehow, most of the rumors here turned out to be true. Besides, OP has not “confirmed” anything, he/she was just asking if anyone else heard the same.
"confirmed" layoff message appears on this site every month. No one should believe "news" here - too much noise and low SNR
