KM & sears are NOT making a comeback fool! This is the biggest joke of the year. You're NOT going to see this company this time next year!!! SMH at the stupidity!!!
Closing stores are liquidating, everything must go and all. People love to shop at Store Closing sales for some reason. They think they are getting great bargains which is usually not the case. Those numbers will go to 0 soon enough.
It is very interesting that all the 'Go Forward Stores" are not making their goals and all of the current closing stores have been beating their goals by 200% or more, not only on the weekend but also weekdays! Do you think Sears management has the correct set of Go forward stores?, or is it all about the real estate….
Sales are not up. Check the go forward numbers. If you don’t know what those are then you really don’t know what you’re talking about. The go forward numbers are horrible.
@WHFdHKr-elg 2 fools? I was "sales UP, margins in the red thanks to SYW. nice try, tho."
read it. margins in red means I am not on the Sears bandwagon. sarcasm...
@WHFdHKr-rkz Yup. Over $300,000,000.00 a month! Train wreck. If ESL is the only bidder, they are done. Creditors will push for liquidation. Cash burn is impossible.
You two fools below are STILL standing by this company because sales were "up". Yeah, yet the company lost $950 MILLION and that this company has lost over $2 billion this year...yeah, they are sure making a comeback, right?! Get your head out of your A---.
SYW is the only reason those sales are up, frj. Nobody wants to suffer through dealing with Sears without that carrot.
And all it took was $950M in losses to accomplish it. If you sell dimes for nickels, you'll sell a lot of dimes.
sales UP, margins in the red thanks to SYW. nice try, tho.
Kmart sales up 6% last quarter. Sears up 3%. Sears Kmart are making a comeback. And before you say the sales are only up because of closings, they had closings last year too.
