I work in merchant services. It’s way to big to say that it is all good or bad. With that said, it does seem like they have want to push this as being a nice growing source of revenue. Even Jamie has talked about the area.

Ive dealt with the Texas site. Doesnt seem like a huge loss to the firm tbh. The sad part is chase will place these failures in other LOBs so they can be mediocre there as well.

Any insight on the Merchant Services division/group? How is it in terms of stability/work culture? Are there any layoffs?

I am evaluating an offer in that group and wanted to make sure I am not stepping into it (so to speak :-)).

Thanks for your insight!
