Does it really matter? What, in your control, are you going to do any different?
You have a few choices.......stay employed work same amount of time while looking for another job until they fire you, stay employed and work more hours so you can keep your job while looking for another job or .........quit and look for another job.
Long term, the outcome is going to be the same. ... in a couple years , unless you want to be running a mop, you will NOT be working for CVS either your choice or theirs.
