Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Who pays for Luxtera ?

Who else is worried that the $660 million paid in cash for Luxtera will be compensated for by even more layoffs? Not to mention that I'm sure they'll find a way to cut people both from Cisco and Luxtera in the name of "consolidation."

Am I being overly paranoid?

“Am I being overly paranoid?” - NO. That is how a non innovative company that runs like a vc does business. Buy and then cut costs resulting in layoffs. Layoffs will happen some place as a result of the latest aquisition. Cisco has gotten so efficient at it they may have done it in real time with the “chill” lr.
