Heard from a manager that there will be one floor team lead and fresh leads will be salary. Anyone know this is true or not.

There are a few test clubs here is California. Managers love it because essentially their leads are on call and they no longer have to worry about paying for extra time and over night resets. On the flip side a lot of the Leads hate it..
I also heard about this to. Only time will tell. It won't happen this year but it will happen.
Is it true that you heard it from a manager? I doubt it.
I was hearing that about a year ago. That there would eventually only be 2 leads on the floor. It would make sense since they're getting rid of so many people. Same thing when it comes to management.
