Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

High Stress Levels

I am so stressed! As a ptc And a 27 year associate and an Assistant at one point I am helping everywhere in the club and I feel like my management team is ungrateful and looking for things for me to do without a thank you to boot. I run a put out fires all over the club and it hey never say thank you or validate my worth. I soar like an Eagle with praise like most of us and I have never felt so unvalued! Ugh

It's easy to say it's just business until your job is eliminated. Then it feels really personal.

I don’t want to rain on anyone’s parade.. but this is just Wal-Mart folks. Being driven and all about your job is a great thing too. Just remember it’s Wal-Mart folks, you will always get a Wal-Mart mentality and thinking, it’s natural. You will be like the people you hang around. Rise above it though if you have the opportunity to do so and the ambition to do it. Not many do.

Listen, I get it, it s---s to lose our jobs!!!! but life goes on! The one thing about this company is that it will ALWAYS do the right thing to the people who OWN THE COMPANY----the SHAREHOLDERS!!! Does it feel good to get rid of the audit team? No. Does it feel good to rearrange the Receiving Team and require more of them? No. Does it feel good to let the Accounting TL go? No. BUT, was kit necessary to move the company forward into a more streamlined future? YES! yes yes yes Sam's Club has been very good to me. We will ALL be fine.

Simma down now.

I feel kind of sorry for OP's store management because it feels like they've been chosen to work through some really deep seated Daddy issues

I whole heartily feel exactly where you are coming from it’s sad to see how they just use us all over without a care or what we are going through mentally. Yes I understand it’s business however the way they did this was very messy, they just stopped communicating with us. Rolled out new program and said cross train. Lol gotta laugh from stressing. It has been fun but I will be happy when they give me a date. I’m not leaving without my money.

I have a feeling that this post would have never happened if the store manager had invested in stickers that said good job or possibly a gold star.

@jai Someone else comes on here and posts the comments of others if they think it's something we would all want to see. Nothing wrong with that.

Why did you post this as a new thread when you posted it as a comment in another thread? Not that I don’t understand your stress, just don’t see the purpose of it. We are all stressed out.
