This shouldn’t even be a debate. Stores and pharmacy should be closed, period the end.

Business can and will continue the next day as like for the rest of the world.

However, eveyone and everything is just a number in this company.

Everyone is replaceable.

It’s the reality and the culture here.

This is the way CVS operates. Accept that reality or you should just look at other options of employment.

24/7 store should be doing that...you are one of the few places open on Christmas Day. Even Walmart closed Christmas Day.

Front stores that operate with rxs closed is a waste of money, they should just double up day after Christmas staff and save money.

We are open Christmas just as a cheap way to advertise and help our brand , but I don't agree

Open all day Christmas. Rx closed! 789.90 in FS sales 570.00 dollars in payroll plus holiday pay. Good business decisions ?

Most deaths happen in holidays like Christmas and the Fourth of July when people don't have normal access to their meds, that's why. It's an actual thing.

My favorite is when state of emergency is declared and they send the pharmacy team home but keep front store open stating that we are a "health care provider" despite having sent the RX team home. The implication is that the lives and safety of one department is more valuable than the lives and safety of another.

Same reason they kept us open when a state of emergency is declared (nobody allowed on the road) because of two feet of snow.

I once asked how come we are open on Christmas Day and I was told because we are a pharmacy and need to make sure our customers have access to the pharmacy if need be.

I also replied “ most Pharmacies have special hours or close”. Doesn’t make any sense.
