Is SHC still offering severance to the salaried workers being let go? My coworker says severance is capped at 12 weeks. Is that still true?

And if you have a resume out on any public job site, it's almost guaranteed that you will get some lousy commission-only insurance sales job offer or similar, despite having nothing pertinent to that on your resume.
Make sure you file for a severance extension after your initial one wears out.
Ohio just voted and passed a drop in benefit weeks recently.
Also strengthened rules for returning to work.
All under the premise of a lower unemployment rate .
Wow I just looked up states unemployment benefits. Flordia s---s -12 weeks, and u only get up to 275 a week. I was just out of work in ohio. Pay up to 26 weeks. I made 580 a week. I had nice time off, still had five weeks left when I started working again.
Mangement gets one week for every year employed up to a maximum of 10 weeks. So if you have worked as management for 15 years you still only get 10 weeks severance. For other full-time employees the maximum severance is 4 weeks.
If SHC files chapter 7 then even that severance will disappear and for the next round of store closures I can guarantee they will not give any severance
Yep in michigan I heard it’s hard to get unemployment because they offer you jobs that s--- and if you decline they reject your unemployment

First of all unless you are among the chosen few,you won't get any severance. You also won't get a lump sum option on your pension . Your Health insurance options will be limited to expensive COBRA , ACA, or of you are old enough, Medicare.

4 weeks and only for the stores currently closing, the next round will be the chapter 7 closings and you will get nothing
