So with holiday retail sails being strongest in years, I'm wondering if anybody is seeing any proof of this in their clubs, because I sure as hell am not seeing it in mine?

yeah, my club that is 2 hours away from a closing club should be up 50%
Sounds like your club might be next on the chopping block the next go around
Of coarse there going to be up. After closing 60 clubs , you should be up 50 % but your not .
Our sales are up thirty five percent week to date.
We had 20%+ increase in the club.
If you read on “fortune” it’s all coming from on line , mostly mobile devices ... 19 percent increase. So, I would surely believe there will be some closings and major changes ahead this coming year for Sam’s Club. Box stores are a thing of the past . Make way for the future
