I’m usually very sentimental, but it wasn’t hard at all to walk away today.
It had become so toxic it was a relief. Absolutely no regrets here.
Good luck to all my coworkers that are leaving today. I will be leaving in March. Just a thought it would have been nice for the company to do something for all those leaving today and to say Thank you for the years they worked there and sacrificed a lot for Vz.
It is my last day.
I am INFOSYS bound. Best choice of all.
I am grateful for most of people I met, sad and nervous about moving to Infosys.

After 20 years ready for tomorrow, not sure what to expect, (retiring). But grateful the company offered me something to feel good about. Best of luck to everyone staying, or taking the buyout.
But overall, I feel good about leaving. Will miss a lot of people. But life goes on.
12/28. Tomorrow is the day. I am sad to leave the many friends I have made along the way and change can be uncomfortable at first. However, I didn't see the long term future here for me personally, so I am very thankful that the Company created this option to move on with a generous pile of cash and benefits to get going in the next adventure. Peace out brothas and sistas.

Time will tell whether those who took the package made the right decision. We really don't know what is going to happen with Hans based on his past history.
At least it is a nice package to get vs. what you would get a lot of places.
22 years, tomorrow is my last day, can’t wait to leave! Interviews going well, already turned down one job offer. Put Verizon in your rear view mirror, I surely have!

Not personally, but have colleagues in other groups who are. While they know they made the right decision, they are still a little out of sorts about tomorrow actually being their last day.
IT person here, last day is 12/28. No regrets. This company is a shadow of what it was over a decade ago when I joined.
