The issue isn't Eddie making the bid, its that he does not have the money to do so, he wants someone else to put it up for him and he cant find anyone that stupid to do it.
I don't think anyone can stop Eddie from making a bid if he wants to. The other creditors then have to try to convince the judge to liquidate in pieces instead of accepting that bid.
It all started when SEARS eliminated The Replenishment Crew.

Yeah I don't think they will allow Eddie to make a bid on it.

I'm sure fast eddie has given this scenario consideration...
Make a phony offer for 500 stores and if lose out go into ch 7 so be it, and then bid for & buy some of the more desirable 500 former properties out of ch 7 bk process
