Oracle representatives seem to be making a lot of noise about Oracle Cloud and it has come to a point that I am surprised when a day goes by that I don’t see an Oracle company representative on TV or online talking about the benefits of the cloud and the endless possibilities that this technology brings to the table. I get the fact that they are aggressively advertising the cloud, but the fact of life is that the most advertised products are often the worst. I don’t let the recent good numbers fool me. Oracle has a product that is still pretty much inferior to its competition, and maybe if they spent more time developing and less time advertising things would change.
