All stores are changing their hours to 11-7 starting 1/15. This means stores only need 1 GM 1 SM per store at that point more layoffs coming soon!

A lot of stores in Chicagoland doing 11-7. Some closed on Sundays. Grand rapids Michigan has a whole district testing it. Biggest obstacle is quotas don't change and you lose some of your Sunday business to indirect and national retail. Huge saving to Verizon. No more Sunday differential. You can get rid of 1 assistant and depending on store 1-3 reps. No layoffs but they don't replace people as they leave to get to the headcount. Quota per rep ends up being higher when headcount gets to where it's supposed to be. So harder for accelerators. You lose some money for a better work life balance.
If true this cannot happen soon enough, mornings aren't to bad but after 5 ish we are standing around staring at each other until 8, just stragglers in the store.
9-6 with Sundays off.....i may have just dribbled in my pants!
Northeast and Great Lakes are one region now.
Confirmed. North east and Great Lakes shifting to 9a-6p Sunday’s off
Can anyone confirm? This sounds like one of those rumors that will be true.
Will it be announced on 1/15 or rolled out on 1/15?
@WPsTZAm-1qzo Surprised that traffic is mainly during office hours M-F
Well swami, does this mean closed Sundays too?? We only need one manager and 2 key holders, think of the money Hansy will save!
This place gives me erectile disfunction! Every day I walk in and my love rocket sighs and points at the ground.
Should be 10-6 m-sat, we dead most of the day, especially nights.
It's about time. They should change it to 11-12 with a one hour lunch
Not surprising
