Talk about messed up priorities. We are at a point where chances are most of us will be out of a job soon. What's the point in getting a raise just to lose the entire paycheck in a month or two when a bunch of clubs closes or we go through another round of layoffs?
Just be lucky you still have a job, buddy...
What's to think about? It's an automatic 2% if you're an awesome associate who goes above and beyond or a terrible associate who can't even handle their job.
There is nothing wrong with someone asking about a raise. No one is happy about all these layoffs but people that continue to work does deserve raises.
