The U. S. Trustee filed a 300 page treatise about how Sears isn't making payments on Kenmore/Craftsman/Diehard IP and needs a new manager. Judge Drain took one look at it and said, yep, I agree, and signed it, appointing away Sears' right to manage the funds. Things are moving really quickly now.

@2qji I wonder what's so important that they felt like they had to seal it up with a court order. They redacted and unredacted so much it's hard to tell. Is it simply the amount of money involved and they're afraid of Eddie's banks finding out?
There are some really weird going ons around this topic in the docket. It appears to be hearsay, but it was redacted, then unredacted. Sears filed a motion to seal the contents, but that motion was denied. Anyways, the final disposition of this stuff isn't set until a hearing in January. It sounds like there was some serious drama involved.
