I’m quitting verizon soon and wondering if verizon offers 50% plan discounts to ex-employees? I might switch to t-mobile if they don’t

I just switched 6 lines over to T-mobile yesterday. Coverage is fine and we got unlimited for 28 per line including fees. They are also going to buy out what remains on our contract. Verizon, can you hear me now? Go to hell!

Why was that such a dumb question, are retirees not ex-employees? So the answer is, you get a discount if qualified. However, it was a bunch of sh-- to drop the retiree discount to 25% when we had it in writing 50% and then they said, just kidding. I hope there is a class action law suit.
I know many who are leaving that are switching to T-Mobile. Let's see 11,000 took the VSP did the consulting firm factor that into their cost savings matrix?
Either way, if you switch to another carrier discount or not.....you'll still save money.

A retiree is considered someone who has enough points under the rule of 73 (VSP) or 75 (RIF).
Points = number of years + age.
I believe you are still considered a retiree if you leave on your own and have the 75 points.
Again, it was reduced to 25% recently.
I thought it was just reduced from 50% to 25% for current employees and retirees.
I’m planning on leaving very soon. Moving to T-Mobile. Way cheaper and almost as good. I have done some testing. I hate the idea of keeping my service at a company that treats us worse and worse

Verizon just gave you a kick in the a-- with this buy out if you were not really ready to leave,and you want to keep them as your moblie provider ,can i have what ypu are smoking,i swicthed to t-moblie and im saving almost half my bill with VZ ..really give them a kick in the ass
If you are an armed forces veteran, TMobile's discount blows Verizon's away (50% vs 15%).
It does offer a 25% discount to retirees
No employee discount after you leave or terminate employment with Verizon - wishful thinking on your part

Why would you think they offer the employee discount to a former employee? With that amazing thought process they might be better off without you ;)
