Planning to give my two weeks notice soon.. what kind of process will i have to go through? What do they ask in exit interviews?

What took you so long to leave ?
Does it really matter what they ask during an exit interview if you're planning on giving them a two week notice? Are you looking to see if they counter with an offer for you to stay?
Being Verizon, they have many different ways of letting someone go and different exit processes. Some let you work until your last day, then you turn in your badge, some want you out immediately, some escort you out of the building like a criminal.
22 years in OSPE - it was as profound & somber as buying the day old bagel @ Stewarts. I'm sure in era 2.0, the experience improves - lol
Exiting here was like taking a MASSIVE BM after suffering years of chronic constipation. Very relaxing. And the stench was bearable. Now just waiting for the resultant rash to heal.
Our second level that left didn’t even come in on his last day , and didn’t say sh-- the day before . See ya !
Exit interviews...ahh no. Remember the Jack Nicholson line..."You can't handle the truth!" Nor, really do they care. They are all knowing
I’ve had a few people leave in my area and they just worked their last few days from home and then must have come on and turned in their pc and badge.
No parties, no so longs, no exit interviews heck they even left their desk as is except for taking their few personal items.
Verizon has alot of different groups it isn’t consistent. There are people that are just escorted out day of their notice.
Lets see.
Since I went to Infosys, not much.
Did not give up my PC or Badge.

Remember the scene where him and another fella walk the gauntlet?
It was worse.
If you're leaving without payout / separation then they'll probably just snicker as you turn in your badge and let the door close on your hindquarters. Don't expect a whole lot of give-a-fsck considering other exits ongoing.
