Has anyone heard if they are going to be letting managers go or moving them around like last year? I know the calibrations were done in December, makes me think some people will be let go or swapped around again.

Front end did have compliance before apms.. it was overload
I know for a fact that each CM, in August 2018, sent in an evaluation of each manager in the building ranking as to strengths and weaknesses. Ranking from Among the Best, Strong, Good, Weak/Fair, and High Potential, Valued Contributor, Subject Matter Expert. Also ranked on Ability, Agility and Aspiration. So who knows what is going on, it is going to be what HO wants it to be. At YBM information should come down to CM's as to what the MM meeting is about. If your profit is up and expenses are down, you probably are safe as far as closing your Clubs down.
Front manager never had Compliance, that was the APM. The APM position, if they chose to keep you, was given grocery, pharmacy, optical and the back room, so two manager positions with one title, GCCM, and same pay.
Lots of talk about overnights going to days and that is the mgr who will lose there job this year. Kind of writing on the wall when they are no longer over the backroom associates.
Hopefully this time they get it right. Last year was a fiasco where the good ones got canned and the bad ones stayed. But at least those good ones got to go out and find something better so it was really a blessing in disguise for them.
I wish they’d do something with the managers. Mine are absolutely useless. Constantly in the office with the door shut. Favoritism is out of control.
I imagine there will be manager hunger games.
