Management bonus

Does anyone know what is going to happen with managers who are becoming "individual contributors" in the move to "flatten" the organization? Will they lose the management bonus? Be forced to take pay cuts? Will they still have to manage people/ departments or is someone else (magically) going to take over their management duties?

We will definitely not be in the mgmt bonus plan anymore.

If the org flattens my salary, I will be flattening my hours to normal working hours. No more logging in nights and weekends. Still waiting on word in Hoboken as well.

Seems weird to alienate the managers who are supposed to be explaining these decisions to people reporting to them.

Individual contributor = sales... if current sales managers actually does not have sales skills, they probably not make much commission
