Firing people to avoid paying severance

Has anybody noticed that JPMorgan has resorted to firing people for even the smallest (and sometimes nonexistent) infraction lately? Things that wouldn't merit even a write-up in normal circumstances?

Looks like they managed to find a nice way to get rid of employees without having to pay severance.

I really think those let go have a case for a lawsuit...

Yes, but what no one realizes is they had just as many issues with phony accounts as wells. Here they just weren’t made public. People should remove their business from that crummy bank.

Yes. After paying severance to get rid of people whom were paid too much for doing too little, those who are left to do more with less $$$ are now ironically being targetted to be get rid off without paying their due severance.

Unethical and greedy industry but you would already have known it.

I doubt we cannot do anything about it.
