For Walmart associates who have had their hours cut, please be mindful that you may be eligible to file for unemployment benefits even while still working for the company.
Basically your reduction in hours must not be the result of a disciplinary action or due to your request.

thank u for that info. my hours have been cut from 40 to 25 other associates that are full time are getting cut back to 18 and the part time associates are getting full time hrs. some associates play the manipulative ways to be favorites of the assistant managers like buying assistant managers candy and bringing them lunch from outside the store and constantly calling and texting them as if they are best of friends and the list goes on.
