Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Customers are not coming back

Even if by some miracle when all of this is over something of Sears is still left standing, do you really think things will be any different than they are now?

Customers have moved on. I honestly can't think of a thing that would bring them back.

Which really poses the main question: why even try?

All the advertising and marketing in the world can't fix their supply chain issues. If you don't have product to sell or things customers want you've got bigger problems.

If they only put the right people in charge of advertising and marketing and retail in general there may be a chance to turn this ship around. But egos abound. They have kind of a weird advantage in lessons learned. But those in power usually will never admit that they were wrong.

Sears is just a vehicle for Eddie's narcissism and fragile ego now
