When the purge of 17’ happened and the guys got their severance pay they realized they couldn’t go work for a competitor. If you did they had to pay back their pay or get sued. So not only do they force you out of your career they also dictate where you go afterwards.
Regardless of what you may think about the LP’s or PSI they’re like any of us, they need a job. Just another sad day in Lowe’s, good luck to all affected
Non competes are unenforceable and in the agreement as a formality. You're free to go work for a competitor. They literally don't give a sh-- about you. If that's what's stopping someone from applying at a Depot or whatever, that's a huge mistake.
In regards to no-compete clause for former PSIs, how can that be if Lowe's is exiting the "complex installation" business? We wouldn't be competing with Lowe's since they cease offering those services.
Lawsuit ?? For a restructure / layoff ? Companies do it everyday. Nothing illegal about it.
Personally, I'll be ignoring that if I have to. Take me to court.

Pretty standard severance. Honestly good that anything was offered.
Now it’s one week per year with a minimum of 4 weeks. Really drives home how much you are worth.
