Good Luck, Everybody - What's the Latest?

T-Minus four hours until the LP call this morning. Same basic rumors floating around for 4-5 days. Was hoping to wake up and see some sort of clarification or confirmation.

From an LP standpoint, doesn't look good for 60-75% of us company-wide. My biggest fear is that we get less than 30 days notice (they can't fire us all today if we're taking the call in our home stores, right??), and that we for sure won't qualify for severance. My family will be destroyed if either of those are the case. Not to mention I'm due a shrink bonus in a few weeks. What are the chances they try to weasel out of that, too? Ugh.

That's why I'm at work 4 hours early. Too stressed; couldn't sleep. It's gonna be a tough day.

Good luck to us LP's, and to our brethren and sisters in PSI. Hoping Marv does the right thing and at least takes care of us on the way out.

Confirmed with my LP that they are going to 1 lp for 5 stores everone else get servance pakages there last day is at the end of the physical year

My understanding is that anything class 3 and below will have no in-store LP. Class 4 will qualify based on total shrink or some kind of calculation I don’t know yet. That’s the strongest rumor I’ve heard so far.

I just started LP 5 months ago. I don't think I'm gonna survive. Oh well, it's only Lowes. I'm not gonna cry about it, I have 2 kids but we'll survive.

Will the LP’s and PSI’s be eligible to apply for any of the posted jobs that are currently posted . I used to be an ASM, we have an ASM position posted in our store.

In January 2017 policy was changed to include LPSM in severance packages. It's listed in Appendix A of the policy. Good luck and God bless.

I used to love my job. I was what they always try to measure. Engaged. They took every opportunity and made every attempt to break that bond. Mission accomplished corporate. I’m in neutral, rolling backwards away from Lowes. I’ve applied elsewhere. Got 2 offers working. Both compete hard against you on pro. I know all of your legions of weaknesses. I and the army of ex employees you’re creating today will bury your business.

LP chases customers around the store, good customer service is all it takes so they figured it out too...now we need to get rid of MSM's paper pushing employees. ANyone can send out emails about numbers all day..they have MSM's that never sold a thing in home running districts which is a joke. everytime you ask about a solution to something they reply I will get back to you and its sweep under rug and never get answer The same thing with the FSM....Offer jobs to these people losing their jobs that will help sell products and see the stock go up....sales equal wage increases overtime etc. Walking around stalking customers wastes money..oh while I am on the issues, get rid of these uneducated cronies that district managers give and SM give to their buddies who are then called ASM's. EARN YOUR MONEY

I'm a level 3, so I guess your info is my best-case scenario, assuming they still pay me my bonus from inventory. I'm only 16 months in position, so it's gonna be a small severance. I need that bonus to survive.

If you’re a level 1-4 store you’re done the end of the month. Level 5 and 6 are staying on. There will be some sort of market team, not much clarification on that. If you stay on until the end of the month you will be offered a severance. What a great way to start 2019.
