For the past few weeks our fresh areas have been getting less and less freight in. We don't usually receive what we order either. They're shorting us on a lot of items too. I don't believe this to be accidental, but purpose driven. Our club is super slow too, definitely under the $60 million a year threshold.
Just a few weeks ago there was a glitch in the system and had every type of meat ringing up dirt cheap. They said it was accidental, but I think it was a slip up for what's to come.
Side note: our deli was getting a ton of freight and all of a sudden they're receiving tiny loads and the coolers are basically bare.
The buzz in our club is that we'll probably be on that list of closings.
